The main problem is that there is nothing else to do with credits, which is good.For example, if you make a hidden loan in the NSFW section, then it will be pointless, because 
1)There will be a huge number of leeches and the hacker forum will turn into a solid PornHouse 
2)On average, the links there live very little, which will lead to a bunch of reports, topics with initially dead links, spam topics, etc.
If we are talking about the credit system in other sections (Cracked accounts or something like that), then this is also a stupid decision, because most of the topics in such sections are of rather poor quality and their relevance disappears the very next day (which, you will agree, is not as good as in the case of dbs, which can be used for months).In general, I don't think credits are needed anywhere else except in the leak sections, I also don't see any other ways to use them.

Potentially add more awards and use credits to purchase them? Makes an individual slightly stand out and can bring something fresh and hopefully exciting to the forum.

bump this thread this is a great idea. i think maybe credits should be also used for like more name changes and like if you have no rank you should be able to customize ur profile with credits
