Add 2FA, but do it properly, fix the 000000 bypass like on the old forum, and in case the plugin gets removed (for maintenance or any other reasons) disallow logins if users had 2FA enabled.

I would say tho that some static pin code (6 digit) that people can choose themselves.This is better cuz no need for stupid 2FA app. And after like 10 failed attempts it would temp-ban the account or something like that.
